Routine Dental Check Up

You should visit dentist twice a year for a routine dental check up for early detection of cavities and gum diseases. People with very little risk of cavities or gum disease can get away with fewer visits. Others may need more frequent visits depending on their oral hygiene, habits and medical conditions like:

  • Smokers
  • Diabetics
  • Pregnant women
  • People prone to cavities or gum diseases
  • People with weak immune systems

Consult your dentist to determine how many dental check ups you require for the year, as it may differ depending on your lifestyle and dental needs.
